Happy Friday! Has it been a weird week for everyone? Social distancing, going to the grocery stores with wiped out shelves, what a strange time to be in. Even though it’s been a crazy week, I thought I’d share my favorite beauty items that I’ve been using for the past few months!
#1 Tati Beauty Textured Neutrals Vol. 1 Eye Shadow Palette
Way back in November, I made a blog post about this new palette from Tati Westbrook that I splurged on! Ever since that post, I’ve used this palette about 99% of the time. I can’t stop using it and don’t feel the need to reach for or buy any other palette. It really is the perfect everyday palette with a lot of versatility to where I can mix up my eye looks on an everyday basis!
#2 Kiehl’s Masks
I mentioned this in my skincare tips post, and I really do love these masks! I ended up finding these sample sizes at my local TJ Maxx, and I’m really happy I did. My skin feels so refreshed and clean, and I just feel like they work and are made from quality ingredients! Typically, sample sized containers don’t really last very long, but I feel like the amount of product within these 4 masks will last for a long time, which makes splurging $20 on these totally worth it. Now when I run out of them all, I don’t know if I can bring myself to make that big of a splurge on just one mask, but for now I’ll just enjoy the samples and decide later if there’s one I can’t live without!
#3 Mac Pro Longwear Paint Pot
Here’s a fun tip about me that you could probably care less about, but hey, I’m telling you anyways just in case you are the same way! Ok, here it is, I have oily eyelids. Every time I wear eye shadow, it ends up creasing at some point during the day. First world problems, I know. A few months ago, I ended up getting the paint pot to try and fix the problem, and I can tell a difference! On long days the eye shadow still creases, but no where near as badly as before. I got this eyeshadow base in the color Bare Study.
#4 Kopari Deodorant
If you read my blog post about trying natural deodorants, then you’ll know that Kopari ended up beating out Native for me. I don’t know if this is considered a beauty product or not, but hey, I’ll just throw it in here because it genuinely is my current favorite deodorant. I don’t want to try anything else after trying this! It’s a quality product that actually works for me and doesn’t have any harsh chemicals like other deodorants out there.
#5 Vaseline
Ok, this is a weird one, I know. What in the world do I use Vaseline for beauty wise? My current favorite obsession is putting it on my lips right before I go to bed. I used to not be able to make this as much of a habit, but recently I can’t go to bed without doing it! I used to struggle with always feeling like my lips were chapped and dry during the day, but once I started implementing this into my night routine I can absolutely tell a difference! I don’t put any on during the day or right before I put on lipstick, yet my lips are so much softer and I feel like my lipstick doesn’t crack during the day.
And that’s a roundup of my current favorite beauty products! I hope you enjoyed and give them a try if you want!
Hope you guys have a great weekend of social distancing! <3
