My Fall 2020 Makeup Look

My Fall 2020 Makeup Look

This past week, I’ve taken a break from wearing makeup. I don’t know why, I just wasn’t feeling it, so I bare faced it pretty much all week. As much as I’m sure my skin loved the break, and how much I loved not taking the time to do my makeup, I did miss it a little bit! I’ve been itching to do a full on fall makeup look, so that’s what I’m going to do today. There aren’t many changes from the products I used today compared to my last makeup routine, so I won’t go into depth on all that I used. But, if you are interested, you can check it out here 🙂

Foundation

If I want a little more coverage for foundation, my go-to is this Alight Clean Foundation from Pacifica. If you want a vegan, cruelty-free foundation, this is a great option. I’m in the shade neutral light, which is 34NL, and it matches pretty well, if I do say so myself! A little goes a long way, and if I build it too much it can feel a little heavy throughout the day, so bare that in mind!

Eyes

My main focus for this post is my eyes and my lip color, so first I primed my eye lids with my Mac Painterly Paint Pot. I love this product as I primer because it really helps preventing my eye shadow from creasing throughout the day!

Today, I used my beloved Tati Beauty Textured Neutrals Volume 1 Palette. I did a whole post about this last year if you are interested! This has been such a staple palette for me, and the orange shades have been calling my name for the past week! I’ve put numbers on the shades to signify the steps I used down below, so first I went with the Matte Ritual shade as my base. Next, I went in with the Matte Story shade overtop it. I didn’t want to go too heavy handed, but I wanted the orange to really come through. The third shade, Matte Ritual, I used below my eyes and on the outer corner of my lid. The star of the show, Metallic Story, I put on the inner and mid part of my lid. I probably could’ve used a little more to really brighten it up even more, but trust me, it shows up in person! My last shade I used was Metallic Aura, and I put it in my inner corner to brighten the eyes even more. I ended up going in with Matte Ritual and Matte Story just to make sure there were no harsh lines and it was all blended out. And that was all for the eyes!

Lips

For my lips, I went with this Wet N’ Wild Megalast Liquid Catsuit in the shade Cedar Later. This shade screams fall to me! It’s got that warm hint of orange and brown, but doesn’t look like too much on my lips. This is a high-shine lipstick that is really comfortable on the lips, but I will say that after a few hours it does get patchy, but that might just be my lips and not the product. This is a great option though if you are wanting to buy some inexpensive lipstick!

And that’s all for my little fall makeup look today. It’s nothing really groundbreaking, but I love makeup and had fun creating this orange look! Orange is definitely a color that pops on the eyes, and it’s one that I’m gravitating to use more this season! Thanks for stopping by today, hope you have an amazing week!

Here’s another pic I just felt like posting 🙂
